About Polarization Cell
Polarization Cell is an electrical equipment which is used for the cathodic protection of various types of metallic components such as pipelines and storage for the prevention of the corrosion. It is designed to protect the personnel as well as the equipments from the electrical disturbances.This device is mainly used for the earthing application. It consist of a pair of pure nickel plates that are immersed in KOH electrolyte that helps in the polarizing [process to block DC to contain cathodic protection current.
